Causes & Solution of Excessive Yellow Urine

Due to the presence of urobilin in the urine, its color is light yellow. It is not unusual to have more yellow than normal urine color sometimes due to extreme heat or drinking less water, doing more physical exertion or physical exercise or eating very oily food or taking medicines or even in pregnancy. After consuming enough water, this issue resolves in a day or two, but when its color remains yellow for many days continuously and it also smells, then it can be a sign of a serious problem. The reason for this can be stones in the urinary tract, urinary tract infection or jaundice. Do not ignore it and get the correct information about the disease.

The root cause of this problem can be excess toxic elements in the body, imbalance of food and drink, sedentary lifestyle, drinking alcohol and too much stress etc. Compound lifestyle can play a very effective role in solving this problem. For this, the practice of following yogic actions proves beneficial.

Asanas

Those who are suffering from fever due to this problem should not practise asanas till the fever is cured. After the fever is cured, people suffering from this problem feel more weakness, so initially the practice of subtle exercises can be of great help in re-awakening the power. As the energy is regained, you can begin to practise asanas such as Vajrasana, Supta Vajrasana, Manduk Asana, Janu Shirasana, Tiryak Tadasana, Trikonasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana, Pawan Muktasana, Halasana and Sarvangasana etc. However, they should be practised under proper guidance. Here, the method of practising of Janu Shirasana is mentioned:

Sit down with both legs extended in front. By loosening each part of the body, prepare the mind for the practice of asana by making it fully aware. Consciously take five long and deep breaths. Now bend your left leg from the knee and touch its soles with the thigh of the right leg. Try that the heel of the left foot is below the genitals. After this, while raising both the hands above the head, slowly bend forward towards the right foot in such a way that the hand grasps the right foot and the forehead touches the knee. This is the final position of Janu Sirsasana.

In this position, keeping the breath normal and feeling the stretch, stay for a comfortable period and then come back to the previous position. Keep in mind that in the beginning, do as much as you can easily, do not force it at all. Then do the same action on the other side as well. After practising this asana, practise any one asana that leans back.Caution- People suffering from slip disc, spondylitis and sciatica should not practice it.

Pranayama

In the severe stage of this disease, which also includes fever, the patient should practice long and deep breathing exercises for maximum time. But, pranayama should be practised only after getting rid of fever etc. The main pranayamas to be practised are Nadi Shodhana and Ujjayi Pranayama. Here the method of practice of Nadi Shodhana Pranayama is mentioned.

Sit in any meditative posture, such as Siddhasana, Padmasana or Sukhasana, or in case of weakness one can also sit in a chair with the spine erect and head straight. Relax your body and face. Close your eyes loosely and take five long and deep breaths. Now while keeping the mind alert, close the right nostril with the thumb of the right hand and take a long and deep breath in (purana) through the left nostril. After the breath is completely filled inside, now close the left nostril with the ring finger of the right hand and remove the thumb from the right nostril and take out a long and deep exhalation from the same. Now take a long inhalation from the same right nostril and do a long exhalation from the left nostril. This is one frequency of Nadi Shodhana Pranayama. In the beginning, practise its six frequencies. After a week, increase its frequency to twelve and then six to six every week.

Yoga Nidra and Meditation

Most of the diseases of our body are due to our unhealthy lifestyle. Once a bad lifestyle becomes a habit, quitting it becomes difficult. The self power and will power of the person becomes very less. A person gets trapped in this vicious circle and cannot get out of it. The practice of yoga nidra and meditation brings the patient out of this vicious cycle very easily. Therefore, not only the patient, but everybody should practice for ten minutes to half an hour every day.

Diet

The role of natural and balanced diet is also very important in the diagnosis of this disease. By taking light food and pure water in sufficient quantity, the digestive system works efficiently and one feels energised. This accumulated energy is directed towards the diagnosis of the disease and gives quick relief from the disease. Normal people or the patient should consume water so that the urine should not be too white or turn yellow. If it is very yellow then increase the amount of water and if it is very white then reduce the amount of water. Water should always be sipped like tea.
